For Every Design, There is a Designer
The first time i heard this phrase used in the context of Christianity and human existence i was baffled by how much sense it made. If you saw a chair before you, would you believe that it just formed by some unexplainable chain of coincidences, or would you IMMEDIATELY assume someone created it? Of course someone created it. Any child can tell you that. Now look at the universe. Now look at our solar system. Look at our planet. Look at the humans that inhabit it. Look at our organ systems. Look at our minds, our hearts and our souls! BEAUTIFULLY designed to function together as a unit. Even a tree is incredibly complex and vast in concept. Would this all happen by coincidence? And this coincidence starting where? No one can give you an answer short of GOD Himself.
The Man Who Barely Made it Through the Flames
1Corinthians 3:10-15 - 10By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. 11For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. 14If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. 15If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
A Generous Man
( Phillipians 2:2-3 - 2then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. )This is a man giving everything he has for the benefit of others. His comfort, his time, his love, his strength, his ambition, everything. All for others well-being, and the glorification of Christ.
